Insomnia

Come join, if you have
no place else to be,

where cicadas hum
a daybreak tune

to dune ferries
roaming makeshift seas

of moon powder
against the crow fabric

from half a sky, sighing
against the cries

an orca makes
when it parts that curtain

to another space
to be a cosmonaut

in the luminescent divide
where star-kissed waters

find the night
and in the shard

of a heartbeat
all is fine
