Spectacular! Sunlight
has been a shot of caffeine
to the veins, sets the heart to
a rattle, sort of ramble,
like the roll of tires across
concrete bumps, which
reminds me it’s Thursday tomorrow!

Today was fine.
The desktop crawled. The pen shrivelled up.
I’ll have papers…
